Green Crescent Herbs & Acupuncture Clinic, Inc. was incorporated in late 2002 by the current Clinic Director, Saiyad Salahuddin Ahmad, L.Ac., L.C.H., M.Sc.  The clinic was opened with the mission of helping as many people as possible to increase their overall well-being and health using drug-free and non-surgical methods.  In doing so, we have strived to serve God by becoming vehicles through which He enables His Healing, the ultimate source of all healing. We have been committed to providing superior service, treatment, education and satisfaction with the utmost compassion, sincerity, integrity and professionalism.

The dedication of Saiyad S. Ahmad to health service is partly evidenced by the fact that he switched his career from a lucrative project engineering position with a Fortune 500 company to his current position. Despite holding a Master and Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemical Engineering from Purdue University and working full time as an engineer, he continued to pursue his studies in Oriental Medicine until he achieved National Board Certification in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Texas license to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He later also received special training in California as an N.A.E.T. certified allergy specialist. Prior to opening his own clinic, he had also worked in the Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Department at Prespyterian Hospital of Dallas. He is a member of the Academy of Oriental Medicine and Texas Acupuncture Association and has had a special interest in researching the Medicine of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for several years.
